Facebook…Let’s face it… we ALL know about Facebook. It is one of the greatest technological achievements of this early century. Everywhere you go, you see “zombies” staring down at their smartphones getting their marching orders from Facebook. I promoted it on my Facebook Page and then decided to purchase a Boost Post (pay for advertising) in the amount of $14.00 over a 3-day period. The results were predictable to me since I stay on top of current web trends. Of the 1,831 total people reached, 306 people were reached organically and 1,525 people were reach due to the paid advertising.
What do these results tell you? Organic-reach content you create on your page to serve as a post reaches a LIMITED amount of your Facebook fans. In today’s web world, having awesome content ALONE cannot be your ONLY internet marketing solution. To be successful in today’s marketing world, you must formulate an OVERALL web strategy.
